Book and Film Reviews are not necessarily my forte if to put it mildly. However when I studied at Tel-Aviv University I took a couple of courses in film: "Nihilism in Cinema in Toronto " "The history of Israeli Cinema" where I practiced writing reviews. Alis and I are also avid fans of international films more of the avangard variety as well as documentaries. We go every year to a few documentaries during the Toronto "Hot Docs" festival, we definitely go to the Israeli film festival  in Toronto. So here are a few reviews and/or commentaries about some obscure films or books. These are not the classics and do not pose any threat to professional film or book critics.
